Privacy Policy

Blenderspot turns a topic you type into a finished vertical explainer video. This page describes what that requires us to collect, what we do with it, and who else sees it.

What we collect

Account details. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, your name, and your profile picture. We do not receive or store your Google password, and we ask for no access to your Gmail, Drive, or any other Google service.

What you create. The topic you enter, the options you choose, the script generated from it, and the finished video. These are stored so you can come back to them.

Credits. A record of credits added to and spent from your balance, and which video each charge relates to.

Operational logs. Ordinary server logs kept to diagnose faults, including timestamps and error messages.

Advertising measurement. Pages on this site load the Meta pixel, which tells Meta that a browser visited a page, started a checkout, or completed a purchase, along with the amount paid. Meta receives this whether or not you have a Facebook or Instagram account, and can connect it to your account if you have one. We use it only to measure which adverts lead to sales.

When a purchase completes, our server sends Meta the same event a second time, so that a sale is still counted if your browser blocked the first one. That copy includes a one-way scrambled form of your email address, which Meta uses to match the sale to an advert and cannot read as an address. The two copies share an identifier so the sale is counted once. We do not send Meta your name, your payment details, or anything you create here.

You can stop it by blocking third-party trackers in your browser, by using an extension that blocks them, or through your Meta ad preferences. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Our own visit counts are separate and stay with us: a daily total per page, held in our database, with no cookie, no identifier and nothing that could point back to a person.

We do not sell personal data.

Who processes it

Making a video means sending parts of your content to services that do the work. Each sees only what it needs:

Your topic and script are sent to the model providers above. Do not put anything confidential in a topic.

How long we keep it

Projects and videos are kept until you delete them or close your account. Credit records are kept while the account exists, because they are what a balance is calculated from. Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it. Deleting an account removes its projects, its videos, and its credit records, and unused credits are forfeited. Write to privacy@blenderspot.com and we will action it.

Security

Traffic is served over HTTPS, and video files are stored privately rather than at public addresses, so a link cannot be guessed. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Children

Blenderspot is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced by email to registered users.
